Rabtrolley on the road to sustainability
The collection includes robust, aesthetically designed and easy-to-clean shopping trolleys and baskets.
Rabtrolley is probably the most recognisable brand producing shopping trolleys from 100% recycled plastic.
The company began its eco-friendly journey by converting its own production waste into full-grade raw material, leading to the Eko Black trolley line. Exciting results and sales success contributed to further experiments with regranulates available on the external market, resulting in the introduction of coloured trolleys under the name Eko Colour.
In search of innovative solutions, the manufacturer partnered with a Norwegian regranulate supplier, Oceanize, which obtains raw materials from marine waste. The brand was the first in the world to start producing full-featured shopping trolleys from plastic fished from the seas. The Save the Sea line is precisely the result of close collaboration between the two stakeholders to develop a suitable recipe.
In recent years, the company has extensively developed technology using a variety of recycled materials.
Now the time has come for a new project – Rabtrolley Outlet.
‘This is a huge shift in thinking about sustainability,’ – says sales director Judyta Okraszewska. – ‘Not only are we recycling plastic waste, but we are also reducing our carbon footprint. This is another step by the company towards a more ecological service offering.’
The outlet allows orders to be placed and fulfilled almost instantly, also bringing tangible financial benefits. Now recycled products don’t have to be expensive! The offer is aimed at shop owners in Poland and Europe looking for solutions at a reasonable price. There are no minimum production requirements and the only limitation is the availability of products in stock. All goods fulfil their function, can be fitted with additional accessories and personalised. And although they may have minor imperfections they still perform 100% of their functions, serve for years and decorate the interiors of any shop.
The company is constantly testing new raw materials and innovative solutions, while educating markets and inviting retailers for whom sustainability is key.
